Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am indeed in NZ. My phone is currently at the service centre. I am currently battling a technician to escalate the case as I have cited CGA. The tech is refusing to escalate the case and is refusing to provide a technical report regarding what has caused the line on the screen despite it being free from physical damage. Any advise is highly appreciated as I feel I am getting the same treatment as you have before.

Hi Dan, going through this now with my Fold 4 sudden black line in fold screen been quoted 1k to fix when I've only had phone year and half and should be under warranty. They have cited external damage as cause but this isn't the case as black line appeared out of no where. I'm in Christchurch and had to send via post to AKL service centre. I took images prior to sending, put on case and bubble wrapped x2 as I was worried about postal damage etc. I've had a back and fourth with their tech team and now their CSR team to escalate. I purchased directly from Samsung and I'm ready 💪 to take them to on at Tribunal if they don't cover the repair. Completely understand If I had dropped and cracked screen I.e but this black line appeared out of no where. Hugely disappointing of Samsung and if I don't resolve won't be supporting their brand any longer. When you spend 2k+ on a phone you expect better.
